In all areas, we have been successful in taking solutions from vision to the research lab, and finally to deployment, where they provide crucial early warning and give soldiers and civilians the ability to avoid contamination.
Our light detection and ranging (LIDAR) technology is capable of detecting biological aerosol clouds from a distance and is already part of the U.S. government’s early warning system against airborne biological attacks. Our Laser Interrogation of Surface Agent (LISA) product line – currently in testing – can provide real-time measurements and mapping of chemical agents while installed in a recon vehicle traveling at more than 30 mph. This is an important capability in the modern battlefield where our deployed forces travel very fast.
